Back in March I headed out for a few days of relaxation and quiet on the on the Deschutes River in Central Oregon. You can read about the trip and see a few more photos on my
travel blog.
On the way to the Deschutes River I stopped at White River Falls.
The Deschutes River starts high up in the Cascade Mountains and empties into the Columbia River.
I stayed at Macks Canyon, the most northerly campground that can be reached by car.
The campground is just above the river level.
There is a trail along the river that is used by both anglers and picnickers.
