East Coast Meet and Greet
I am interested in this, as I have mentioned. Though I am away on business twice in January. Dont know if it will work out. Seems we have folks interested but...we just need to pick a date to see who really could make it some time in January.

I agree. It's been my experience in coordinating meet and greets that someone just has to pick a date and place and say, " Here's where it is and when it is" and then see who can attend. Trying to coordinate people's schedules is just too difficult. You may end up with just a few rigs there or you may have many. The three meet and greets I've been involved in have had five, 13 and 28 rigs at them. I enjoyed the five rig meet and greet just as much as the 28 rig event. Even a two-rig outing would be fun in my opinion.
Oh, and by the way, coordinating a meet and greet doesn't have to be any more complicated than saying, " I'm going camping at X. Does anyone want to join me?" That's what Mike (Ford_6L_E350) and I did at Toroweep in the Grand Canyon a few years ago. Three other Sportsmobilers joined us and we had a great time with just five rigs. You can see pictures of that trip here: http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/viewto ... p&start=90

I say pick a spot/date and lets put the word out. Are you thinking a Friday/Saturday?

Carl: I think the "you" is you, since you started this discussion stream. Pick a spot/date and get the word out.

Lets start trying to get a list of folks interested and we can go from there.
Anyone driving a distance is more then welcome to get here Friday and camp through the weekend.

East Coast Meet and Greet
I am game for that weekend MTBGary. Do not know for certain how long I will be able to stay but that weekend should be good. And, your location is fine to me - just across the river. How many of the rest of you could swing it?

Heading west in the van skiing for 8 weeks
Leaving the first week of february
But would be in for a spring or

Maybe in the mountains or on the coast?
Have fun

Re: East Coast Meet and Greet
So who can make it to Warwick the weekend of Jan. 14th? Lets get a count on who can make it for a day or over night.
As I mentioned, anyone driving a distance is welcome to camp here in the front yard. Just let me know when you plan to arrive.
Confirmed:
MTBGary
Carl?
Mikewtv?
NomadCat?
