Small town festivals are always a blast especially when complimented by "tastings'. We've learned not to judge the local home-brew until we've allowed the complexity and after-taste a chance to settle in...a good assessment of actual palatability & quality only truly revealed after the 3rd or 4th glass! More vendors = more appreciation.
Who's driving???

I think it is a heck of a deal at the current price, thanks, and more than fair at what I paid. The current price is a couple hundred more than I paid.

Lee, Thanks for all the work you did on this. Sorry I'm late with this reply but I plan to attend and plan to arrive on Thursday. There will be two of us. For activities, I'd be looking at Fri afternoon at Via Ferrata, Sat AM - Canapy tour, and Sun Am - Caving. Will likely be only 1 for those events. And if the barbecue takes place you can count us both in on that.
Thanks,
Ralph

All,
Quick update to reflect current numbers.

For those coming from the NE and traveling via 220 (AKA Petersburg Pike through WV/VA) Swilled Dog Hard Cider is opening their new tasting room in Upper Tract, WV. Its about 30 mins away from NRocks. Advertised as family and dog friendly.

https://www.swilleddog.com

For those coming from the SE traveling via VA State Route 39 to 220 (AKA Sam Snead Hwy) through Warm Springs, VA, the Milk House Market at the Old Dairy is a great place to stop for lunch, snacks, etc. Further North on 220 is the Real Deal Market and Grill in Monterey, VA. Its got great BBQ but the hours can be iffy. Definitely call ahead.

Caving Notes:
If anyone is looking to use a shuttle to get to the caving link up point please let me know.

Also, please review the caving tab on the NRocks website and pay particular attention to the what to wear category (outlayer to get dirty, etc). It stays a constant 52 degrees in the cave.

https://www.nrocks.com/activities/wild-caving/

Via Ferrata Notes:
Please review the via ferrata tab on the NRocks website for gearlist/recommended clothing. The via ferreta will go rain or shine and is only cancelled if lightning is present. Expect the tour to last 3.5-5.5 hours.

https://www.nrocks.com/activities/via-ferrata/

Price List:

Caving: $25.00/per person for both the Friday group and the Sunday group.

Camping: $7.50 per person/per night (similar to last year)

Catering (Sat Night): Cost will be minimum. Concession style with an approximate cost of $6.00-$7.00 per person.

Lee,

Thanks for the update. Definitely put Shara and me down for the Saturday catering. After riding the North Fork it will be nice not to have to prepare dinner!

Looking forward to this...

Karl & Shara
