Probably, but they let us keep it after all......shhh, don't tell anyone. It was a small pepper spray someone gave us a few years back, so either way it would have been fine.

A few shots from Niagara Falls....was a super busy weekend celebrating Canada's 150.....

Behind the falls tunnels....

Yum, Poutine. They even had a GF gravy and Alex was able to do a veg one. Lake and I went in together on the double pork!

We managed to head out to Niagara on the Lake and get in a nice bike ride in along the parkway....Shanti enjoyed her new ride

East Coast Road Trip-Summer 2017

We prepared for the 1200 mile haul to PEI and departed Niagara Falls on the 2nd. We followed the QEW or 401 and ended up at a small campground along the st Lawrence river in Brockville. They were kind enough to allow us to camp for free for the night in their overflow lot across the street which was a really nice grass field we had all to ourselves, perfect and quiet! Just what we needed after the craziness at the KOA.

Another long haul day, we picked up 20 around Montreal and pushed through it's crappy roads and construction and pushed on past Quebec. Amazing scenery once past the city, trees and rolling green hills filled with wildflowers.

We found a nice little spot to camp for the night at Lac Temiscouata right before the border of New Brunswick. It seemed as if much of the campground was filled with weekend RVers that leave their rigs parked at the spot for the season, we practically had the place to ourselves, well, besides all the other trailers and RV's.

There's a WHOLE lot of that in the East. People buy and park em in an RV park and are rarely there. It's weird. Seems like a waste of money to me.

Have to play a little catch-up, fell a bit behind.....
The 8 MILE LONG bridge to PEI

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confederation_Bridge
Our first stop, there was already a line at Richards, serving everything from the sea, deep fried. There was a nice little market next door with some unmolested, unfried seafood, we picked up some local potatoes and some fresh scallops for Lake and I to enjoy that night.

We made our way through rolling hills and potato fields to PEI national park campground Stanhope on the north side of the island.

We enjoyed being right across the street from the beach and using the nice bike path to take a ride.

On our ride, we found that we were not far from Delvay by the sea, a historical one time vacation home turned vacation cottage with a restaurant. The grounds were great for taking in an afternoon snack, when in Rome....

Picnic on the beach with amazing sunsets.....

We decided to take the ferry back to Nova Scotia

Loaded up and secure!

They even had live music for our listening pleasure

Another passing ferry

Looks like a great trip so far! If you will be swinging through Philadelphia on the way back, let me know! (I don't think we're on your route, though.)

I'm impressed that you've kept this updated as you traveled :-) That's the last thing I feel like doing each day when were traveling.
