Have to play a little catch-up, fell a bit behind.....
The 8 MILE LONG bridge to PEI
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confederation_Bridge
Our first stop, there was already a line at Richards, serving everything from the sea, deep fried. There was a nice little market next door with some unmolested, unfried seafood, we picked up some local potatoes and some fresh scallops for Lake and I to enjoy that night.
We made our way through rolling hills and potato fields to PEI national park campground Stanhope on the north side of the island.
We enjoyed being right across the street from the beach and using the nice bike path to take a ride.
On our ride, we found that we were not far from Delvay by the sea, a historical one time vacation home turned vacation cottage with a restaurant. The grounds were great for taking in an afternoon snack, when in Rome....
Picnic on the beach with amazing sunsets.....
We decided to take the ferry back to Nova Scotia
Loaded up and secure!
They even had live music for our listening pleasure
