Re: First Trip with Wife

What is the fun of an outside shower curtain? I am looking a shower shelters now.

We went to the art museum two weekends before, that was kinda how I got her to try one night in Sedona and she loves Sedona. I will have to take her to Disney Land or foot rubs for a month I guess for a night camping the way I like. I will just have to take it slow.

Slow and easy always works. So I wish you a lot of patience, and I am sure SMB camping will grow on her. I went from sleeping on the ground out in the desert to tent to the back of my 4Runner to SMB now, and feel like a spoiled rotten brat - or is it called growing up???

Re: First Trip with Wife

My wife is the same way about showers and such only worse.......

Just thought I would pass this on as I only found out about it this week when I spoke to Peter at SMB Fresno.

My wife said she stay in camper for longer than a 1 night trip if we had a shower in the SMB.

We have a penthouse version not the fixed roof so a permanent shower is pointless.
I am getting one of those portable showers from SMB with the curtain and wand set up for inside.
Only $400 total. Since I don't have hot water in SMB I will using one of those portable propane water heater units for $150.

I was going to do a recessed shower in rear but Peter at SMB Fresno recommended the portable.

Only downside is small tray and have to dump out water in sink or toilet (if you have one)
