Last call for Portland area folks. There are some interesting places east of Mt. Hood off of USFS Roads 44 and 48 that would provide for camping and some 4wd driving (assuming the snow hasn't close them by 10/24).

We would be interested in coming down from Seattle and joining you. I will have to check with the wife but I think we are free the weekend of the 24th. I also know of a great camping spot on the South side of Mt. St. Helens, maybe we could suck some of the Washington folks in that way. It is a large area on the Muddy River and has room for 10-15 rigs. It is accessible by 2x and 4x4 both, the only draw back is there isn't much 4-wheeling in the area.
