Forum Meetup in October 2009

I would like to suggest making the next to the last weekend in October "Forum Meetup" weekend.

Here's the idea, in 2009 on October 24th and 25th SMBs would meet up across the country in their local areas- a spot most convenient to that area, much like the post Valentines Austin Texas event.

Ideally this would include a single overnight with, say, less than 5 hours driving time one way (So LA and San Diego might have separate events).

An organizer to pick a spot and communicate with the local SMB owners would be necessary in each area, and apart from the date and the general idea it would be up to each group to decide on specifics.

Kind of an excuse for everyone to schedule that weekend and get out and meet some fellow SMBers.

Sounds like a good idea to me too. And far enough out to arrange that weekend free. We don't have to hold hands at a preset time and sing "Sportsmobileforum across America" though, do we?
