Check w your provider, most can get reception in the major cities, Tijuana, Cabo, La Paz...

Or there is always the option to leave your cell phone at home
If that's not an option there are places that rent satellite phones.

I've taken dogs down with me many times and never had any problems. You are supposed to carry proof of shots... but I have never been asked for anything.

AT&T phones work all over Baja, in surprisingly very remote places, but Verizon phones hardly work at all. You will pay some roaming charges and LD charges, which can be reduced with a international plan for the short time you are down there.

THE IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER TO DO IS TURN OFF DATA ROAMING!

Hi all, I'm new on here. I've been wanting to do a trip like this. Count me as tentative for the plan B timing option.

Thanks

YES! Our dog has been to Baja more than many of our friends.
Tags, proof of shoots, and up to date shoot record. Although we've never been asked for anything. Usually the dog is too asleep from all the fun in Baja by the time we get to the border!

Ramsey

You're killin me here. I just got back from Baja Wednesday and would love to go back with your group. Unfortunately I can't get the time off. Depending on how the vacation bidding goes for 2014 I'm going to try to be down there for the Score Baja 1000 in November 2014.

Your Baja run in Feburary sounds like it will be an epic trip.

Trade time with someone - we would like to have you along.

The NORRA race you attended last year will be a little later in May (starts the 11th) and I will be racing it in the '69 Bronco. Are you going to make that again?

Re: Get ready to get your BAJA on! 2/27/14 - 3/7/14

Jan and I are heading down to Baja for the Baja 1000 in two weeks - the course goes down to the same areas we are planning on going to in Feb.

We are going to take this opportunity to "Prerun" for the trip and decide on camping spots and locations for the trip.

If anyone wants to join us for a few days, it will be fun.
