Hey Kelley, I talked to Gabe yesterday. He mentioned you guys had just a little bit of wind. He mentioned trying to sleep with ear plugs in. Sounds like you all had fun though.

Haha they did in the tents but I was comfy and warm in the smb. He had two adults and two kids in the rtt .

shenrie - yes, that's Silver Falls. Being from wet western Oregon, I thought I needed something other than the desert that's so common on the forum.

That said, I have nothing against deserts, so if you need any additional inspiration about the White Rim, check out my trip report from a couple of years ago.
