Heading West/North West from CO.

Hey all, we are headed out next week on a month+ road trip. Picking up our Pikes Peak off road trailer on mon. Things are looking good, and with a few design changes from the last posts, is going to be a beast of a trailer, cant wait! First stop, park city then Idaho for a few nights of camping and pulling into Everett, north of Seattle by fri. July 1st for the weekend, then into Seattle for the 6-8. Hitting the peninsula for a few nights before the royal gorge and Portland. After Portland back out to the coast and south through napa ending up in Tahoe by the weekend of the 22nd. Hope to see some of you along the way and up in the Seattle area. I will try to get in touch with some of you I have met as we get closer, see you out there!

Re: Heading West/North West from CO.

Went to Powell for the week after memorial day, was nice but had some wind, not as bad as they had on the weekend though. next trip to Powell will be in sept/oct. get together some people and rent a houseboat. Anybody else on this here forum want to do a lake Powell trip? Maybe I'll post up a new thread? We have a power boat we keep there, best to block out at least 6-7 days, 1 to get there, 2 on water travel days and at least 2 full days out(3 is better). Sept is great time of year, nice weather, warm water and crowds are gone.

Re: Heading West/North West from CO.

I'm a lurker currently shopping for an SMB who lives in Park City. Stop by for a glass of wine if you have time.
