Gary - Here's the info on Spencer Hot Springs.
Go E from Eureka on Hwy 50 about 90% of the way to Austin. Cross the north end of Big Smoky Valley and just before you start up the hill into the Toiyabe Mts, turn Lt (South) on Nevada 376 toward Tonopah.
Go JUST a hundred yards or so and turn Lt again on FS Road 001. You will be heading SSE. This graded road goes straight for about 4 mi. When you pass under the power pole line, go 1/4 mi further and turn Lt off FS001. This road quickly turns Rt almost parallel to FS001.
Continue toward the raised area of white dirt ahead of you. The road splits into a little maze of tracks, continue up to a small flat and the pool is on your Lt with a small deck and bench and a metal grate protecting fools from getting into the Very Hot source. The pool is quite warm and the temp can be adjusted with the intake valve. This pool is rock lined and a bit mossy.
There are 2 other pools. Standing on the deck, looking W at the Toiyabe Mts, one pool is down to your Rt and the 2nd is down ahead and slightly Lt. These are 8' stock tanks and not nearly as mossy/slimy.
Find it on Google Earth at 39.3271N, 116.8555W. The dark patches you see are vegetation growing from the hot springs runoff, you can't see the pools themselves in these poor quality images.
