In Tucson

It's starting to get hot, so I want to open an invite to you all if you're in the Tucson area, we have a big driveway, tools and a pool.

If you're headed to Mt. Lemmon or Reddington pass area you'll drive by our house, so consider stopping in, cooling off or just having someone in the area you know.

We're right by Sabino Canyon, and this is more or less open until December when the lease is up. So just email me if you're planning to be in the area and want to visit.

Dang - Just went thru there. Thanx for the offer! Maybe next time.
Then again, if you're heading down the east coast of Baja.... We're just a long days drive from your area.

I wonder if we should establish a frappr or google map. I'll look into the differences, ideally we'd be able to have different degrees of map positions, from those of us offering a dry-dock (something I've thought of doing myself) to those just wanting to post their participation in the smb community.

also we could mark out-of-the-way campspots for the 4x4 crowd that we know are smb friendly...

any other ideas for map content?

What do I do in Baja all the time... Well, this trip has been taken up doing a lot of maintenance on the little abode. The biggie was that my solar batteries took an early dump and I've had to replace them. Took some time finding what I wanted and getting them down here. Now, all in well on that front!
Most of the time here is divided between fishing, water skiing, snorkeling, motorcycle and quad riding, hiking up the palm lined canyons, and taking off on trips from here and exploring remote (there's less and less of those ) places. Fun to check out old mission sites, cave paintings, remote beaches, etc.
Always something to keep one busy. I even put up a hammock, but haven't had the time to break it in.
If anyone wants to stop by on their was down here and maybe hook up for some exploring, give me a holler. We're always looking for someone to go places one shouldn't.
