jackson Hole?

Hi All,

We're taking a western loop starting late June into July. It looks like we'll be in Jackson Hole June 23 to the 28th. A hot shower by then would be awesome..... It would also be nice to be close to town with running water and a roof for under Jackson Hole rates. I used to fly for the Forest Service out of there and our room rates were crazy high out of sight! Any ideas??

I will make some calls,

I have a friend that owns hotels here in town. I will be having dinner with him tonight and I will ask about those dates. Did you want all 5 nights? I thinking its still to be about $100 a night and thats more than half off. So if you want more or less nights let me know asap.

There is some great boondockin FREE camping with in 10 miles of town.

We're looking at the 23-24 and 25 June. Thats a great rate! I was paying three times that for several months...... and we wonder why the governments broke. It's a great town though. Thanks for the help.

We are looking at being in Jackson for a night around then as well. Hope to make it for the night of June 25th or 26th. On our way up to yellowstone for a few nights before moving on to northern idaho and ultimately seattle and the west coast. Would we be able to take advantage of that hotel offer too? hope to see you there.

Of course.
I spoke with my friends tonight and the 25th and 26th are the weekend and they are already sold out. I hooked up Greg with them for the 23th -24th.
its $139 a night.
Call the Pony Express Hotel call and ask for Cristy tell her you are "Another VAN" friend of Ron's and she will give you that rate.

Or if you want I can show you some great Free boon-docking just out side of town.

Thanks for the quick work! Thats a great deal! I'll give her a call today. How about a mini SMB get together in the Boon-Docks on the 25th??

We're also heading up to Yellow Stone after that, then looping into McCall Idaho for the 4th of July.

We hope to be rolling into town on the 25th, coming from park city, @6hr drive, so camping that night would work. Would love to hook up. Probably one night in town, so hotel might not be nec. thanks for the hookup though. We will most likely be rolling up to yellowstone and camping for a few nights on sun-mon. 26-27th? we could find a few spots together if the timing works.

Sound like a plan. We just booked the 23rd and 24th, so back to the woods for the 25th works. Make sure to hit the Olympic training center in Park City. Also hit the bob sled if you if you have the $ in the budget.... It's a fun town.

Thanks for the tips, we have some friends there, and are passing by at least once a year, but have not hit the Olympic park or the bobsled. Sounds like a good time. See you in Jackson.
