Joshua Tree 2008

Just got back from Joshua Tree NP, Pioneertown and Santa Rosa Mtn.

Had a great time and got extremely lucky with somewhat cool temps for this time of year.

Enjoy..

Dave,
Looks like a great trip. Really nice photos too. Believe it or not, I haven't been to Joshua Tree either, despite it being so close. Your trip report convinced me that I need to go soon. Which is perfect since I want to plan something for the upcoming months.

Great report!

FYI a few photos didn't seem to load. But those that did look great!

Yeah its beautiful Steve and it's in our own backyard. 2-3 Hours from LA, can't beat it. On the photos, it's stupid webshots.. i think it does whatever it feels sometimes. If you hit refresh most times it will reload properly.

Thanks for putting such a nice report and pics together.

I'm a native of SoCal and have never visited Joshua Tree. It is on my short 'to do' list for a weekend camping trip within the next 6 months.

Nice write up and pics. We did a dual sport motorcycle ride and had lunch in Pioneertown. Slow service...but good food!

Oni, whereabouts did you eat? We couldn't find much open at all.
