Glad your ordeal is over safely, Phil.

Thanks, but not sure I would refer to it as an ordeal. I absolutely loved the trip and even being stranded in Guatemala has created what I'm sure will be some lifetime friendships and memories. It's all part of the experience!

I put together a slide show of my trip mostly for myself, but figured I would share. It's a bit long (just a warning). It's on my blog or direct link below.

Enjoy!

Fantastic slide show, thanks. I saw many familiar places as I did almost the same route 20 years ago on my motorcycle............

VERY FUN! Appreciate you sharing your experience - inspirational adventure. At first I thought i'd just skim through some of it and revisit later to watch it in its entirety...That didn't happen, sucked me right in!
For us, may of the most enjoyable memories seem to be centered around the individuals we've had a chance to spend some time with - looks like you were rewarded many times with that opportunity.

If it wasn't for COVID I would just be getting into Bolivia now! All in good time ....
