Re: Little Redfish Lake
Sorry we missed you guys too! We disperse camped right outside the entrance road, just below Sunny Gulch campground, from that Sunday through that Wednesday. The Redfish campgrounds were packed on Sunday/Monday but cleared out quickly once the long weekend was over. We only saw one SMB there - there was a "plein air painting" event going on and one of the artists had a nice tan SMB 4x4.
It was our first time through the area, and Idaho - wow, just beautiful. The Sawtooth's are spectacular. Great hiking and mountain biking. We had our inflatable canoe-yak with us but didn't put in at the lakes there. We'll have to save that for the next time through when we get to spend a couple weeks there.
