Since I saw and photographed it, I can confirm cat.

Thought bobcat, but it was a Lnyx.

upon first glance on a tiny cell phone screen i can see how it could appear as a wolf. not so much now that I'm on a good sized screen.

Yeah and obligatory van photo overlooking Big Hole Valley

Today reached Big Hole Valley with the Beaverhead Mountains in the West. Traveled through the GrasshopperValley intothe Pioneer Mountains. Rained all afternoon. These are Big Hole Valley and Beaverhead Mountains.

Going backwards, yesterday I traveled south from Missoula through the Bitterroots and to North Fork ID. I backtracked a little to Hwy 43 towards Wisdom MT and spent the night at May Creek.

This afternoon I traveled through the Grasshopper Valley intothe Pioneer Mountains. Rained all afternoon.
