Kind of like this spot for the night, but close to the road so we’ll see. Great spot for a break.

Thanks and welcome.

No, she decided not to come after she heard there weren’t any raccoons out west. . Actually, we decided for her to stay home to keep my wife company.

I think you’d really enjoy the Gravelly Range road while you there. I’m sure your headed in that direction. We did it a while back and sure loved it.

Thanks.

Shoot, think I’m way past that road if it is south of Ennis. Problem is it has been raining a lot and flooding. Had to use 4 lo several times to get through mud.

Your modified trip looks amazing! I just returned home from Gravel Travel this morning (after spending a day and a half decompressing and cleaning up in Whistler BC). I completed as much of the rally route as I thought was reasonably possible. Reasonably being that I did back out of one section where I had to bushwhack solo every 100 feet for more than a mile of mosquito infested overgrowth - if I was to make it to camp on the same calendar day. In one other case where the route indicated that I was supposed to cross tribal land… and then when I arrived there were numerous tribal signs indicating that the public (me) was not authorized to travel, camp, or access the surrounding tribal land - did I respectfully cut my destination short and turn around. There were some amazing gems at the end... all hard fought.

Great meeting you, great visual report, and continued safe travels. Following along.

Best wishes,
---TWOLOST---

Thanks and thanks for the rally update. Great meeting you as well.

Headed into the Custer National Forest, Beartooth Mountains, Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness for two nights. Then headed south on the Beartooth Hwy across the summit over 10k feet. Highly recommended.
