Mike is correct, I have attended a few gatherings with my "wannabee non-SMB". One time I was forced behind the trees and blocked from anyone else seeing me.

Hopefully there will be a few of us that can watch the official folks having fun from a distance .

Looking forward to a great meetup, getting closer!

Re: Meet and Greet at Valley of Fire, October 7-9,2011

We've just had our 23rd Sportsmobile confirm they will be at the Valley of Fire Meet and Greet. Javier Saavedra and his wife, from Hermosillo, Sonora in Mexico, will be joining us. They will be staying in the electrical hookup sites in the Atlatal CG on Thursday and Friday if anyone wants to join them. It's just a short walk from Arch Rock CG where most people will be camping. Here's a great chance to practice your Spanish speaking skills!

We now can call this an International Meet and Greet, particularly if we also count AndrewST as coming from Switzerland. Maybe I'd better get a case of dice clocks.

Meet and Greet at Valley of Fire, October 7-9,2011

Mac, we 're aiming for Friday arrival. To further induce the CMC (chief mobile chef), we have to first go by some type of rare exotic shoe store that apparently doest exist in our little town of Phx,AZ. But at least were rolling.

Re: Meet and Greet at Valley of Fire, October 7-9,2011

As far as international goes, some people do consider my hometown to be a small island off the coast of America. ;-)

It still looks good on my coming out there but, if I do make it, it is more likely to be on the 6th.

I'll keep you all posted as I go. Had a change and was able to get a friend in here to housesit. Working on other logistics now.

calclimber:

We are hoping with Arch Rock CG, Atlatal CG, the reserved Group Site, and boondocking there is plenty of room for anyone who wants to come. I've sent you a PM to get your license number so we can try and save you a campsite if you know you are definitely coming. I'll put you on the "Maybe" list until you decide for sure.

Hope to see you there.

Mac
