meet up in Los Angeles Hollywood Area

Steve W will be driving up from Orange County early tomorrow morning... Not a SMB owner yet - so I'll be in a white Toyota Tundra.

Looks like this is coming together nicely.

They have fire rings there - FYI.

I'll bring Blongo and Bocce ball for entertainment.

We should get there around 1030-11. Gonna leave in the morning.

Yes, don't think there are any fire restrictions, as long as you use the fire ring. Looking forward to meeting any and all who show up!

Any place nearby to buy firewood?

How's the day/night weather like?

Re: meet up in Los Angeles Hollywood Area

First it was great to meet all of you...

This has been a really great day and it has been more fun than I could have ever expected.

I have never seen this many Sportsmobiles all in one place before.

One Sprinter, One Dodge, and the rest all Fords and everyone single one had a Penthouse but me....

I would like to thank everyone for a super great time and for taking me in even without a Penthouse Top or a Sprortsmobile sticker, oh and Ocsmb that chocolate cake your wife made was devine, thanks everyone...

Re: meet up in Los Angeles Hollywood Area

THANK YOU ALL for a wonderful event and for all of your hospitality.

Special THANKS to cellularSTEVE for taking me on the ride. Fantastic.

Y'all gave me plenty of ideas to consider while I'm in the hunt for a SMB.

I'm still leaning towards a 4wd Ford - but man - that Sprinter sure was nice !!!

And THANKS for the offers to feed me. I didn't expect that I'd be there till dinner so I didn't bring any food... After the ride, I went into town to get some foodstuff to share with everyone... I took a wrong turn and the trip took longer than anticipated. By the time I got to "town," it was cold and dark. I realized that traveling back into camp would lead to serious eating and enjoyment of some outstanding beers that were at hand, and sitting around the campfire, and having another beer, and on and on. So I had some Scottish food (a number 6 at McDonalds) and headed south with thoughts of Sportsmobile configurations and options.

THANKS AGAIN. It was a great event. Let's do it again.

SteveW - one of the four or five Steve's that were there
