Re: meet up in Los Angeles Hollywood Area

Wow what a great time. The trek on the trails was great! The food and the company of fellow SMB'ers was outrageous ....so when is the next gathering? I will try to post some pictures this week.

Re: meet up in Los Angeles Hollywood Area

Looking forward to seeing a group shot of the people at this meet and greet in the LA area. I wish I had been there.

Since it is the first anniversary of the Valley of Fire Meet and Greet, I thought I'd add the group shot from that fun activity to inspire those who attended this last meet and greet to add their pictures to this discussion stream. Perhaps there may be some of the same faces in the crowd.

Another great reason to own an SMB, meet great people!
I'm glad to have met you all!
Although I had to leave Sat afternoon right before the trails, it was an awesome morning checkin' out all the rigs and getting to know everyone. Seems like many of us were from OC or not more than a couple hours away.
Let's plan another one soon! Good times!

Re: meet up in Los Angeles Hollywood Area

Was great to meet everyone, had a good time.
Unfortunaly with my luck, my van will not start today!
Seems like the starter solinoid didn't like the mud bath I gave it.
New solinoid $15 will replace myself hope thats it.
Any way it got me home and was nice enough to die in the driveway.
Still had a great time thanks to all that made it happen.

See Don...

That's what you get for going home.

You were supposed to stay out on the road even longer.

Ok great I have fixed it and didn't evan have to buy a new part,
just had to get the crud out of the stuck starter solinoid plunger with WD40.
I shure am relieved.
Shows how a simple water crossing could leave you as bleached bones.

Don,

You crack me up. Smb product tester. Your new title.

What else did you break this past weekend?

Great vans and even better people. Celluarsteve was really considerate and kept checking on me and my family during our caravan out to some trails. Such a great dude. Cb radios rock!

Harry and his wife made us feel at home with non stop apps.

John W hooked up my talon.

Robert had awesome Korean BBQ.

Lilly Ann and Steve became immediate friends and babysitters.

All around hospitality and fun meet.

Excited for the next one.

Shooting for early Dec along the CA coast. Would like to go somewhere where we can book a group campsite.

Stay tuned.

CellularSteve doesn't exist unless someone has pictures. He hasn't posted here for quite some time.

Well...

I don't have pictures - but I rode in a van with a guy who claimed to be cellularSTEVE.

There was a hula girl on the dashboard. Is that any kind of proof ??

He was a pretty darn nice guy - offered to share his dinner...

And... He seemed to know an awful lot about beer.

Could it have been him ??
