Meetup in Vegas in June 2011

Hi All:

Anyone interested in a Friday, Saturday, Sunday meetup in Las Vegas the first or second weekend of June 2011? I would be happy to reserve a group camping site at either Red Rock Canyon or the Valley of Fire for the weekend. Both canyons are beautiful with much to see and do. VOF camping is more developed (even with showers). Red Rock is more primitive (vaulted toilets). VOF is 45 miles northeast of Vegas (one hour to the Strip). Red Rock is only about 12 miles from the Strip. Both locations are a great jumping-off point for an extended trip to Zion/Bryce, Grand Canyon or Death Valley.

A definite maybe! I think maybe the first week end in June might work out better for me. I have it penciled in.

Sounds nice, but I have to pass. My dad's birthday is June 8 and I make it a point to be in Iowa for that celebration.

Make it the last weekend in May and I'll be there on my way to Iowa.
