The scenery from the "Cars" ride is breathtaking! Almost looks real...

yes, Alex runs the camera, will try to get a few posted up, I think she said there are over 700 photos from our trip!
Mac, the paved main roads that run through the parks are nice enough, but picking up one of the dirt or 4X4 spur roads, esp from canyonlands, will get you up close and personal with the area, most worthwhile, pick up one of these for detailed info on the trails, includes ratings. You can get them in moab, we saw them both at the visitor centers in the parks.

Thanks Rick. I have both of those books. That's why I have been salivating about getting down to Moab. I want to go on every road and see every nook and cranny. That's my problem. I need to find someone who is willing to pay me for doing nothing so I can just drive around in my SMB for the rest of my life.

You will have a great time Mac, there are many paved but even more dirt roads that even stock SUV's would have no problem on that allow you to see some beautiful areas that most people passing through don't see. Your van would have no problem exploring those.
I'll keep my eyes open for you, it'd be nice to meet you.

Ryan

Hope to see you too Ryan. And I'm really hoping to see some of Alex's pictures.
