We gave our new-to-us SMB a shakedown cruise to Moab last weekend. We were originally going to participate in a 12hr adventure race but a work injury prevented me/us from competing. So we went to try the new rig out and support our friends that were racing.
We realized pretty quickly that the thing is huge compared to our Xterra and there is room for more stuff than we have...however, my wife takes this as a challenge.
We greatly enjoyed our first jaunt and were not disappointed in the least.Everything worked and when the weather turned sour we were able to hang out inside while listining to music and sipping coffee.
We camped at Sand Flats for a couple nights because we had to be close to the course and then on Sunday we headed up Shafer Trail on out to Grandview Point.
