Re: My first planned trip in my Van!

Well there you go, hope I didn't get too board
I loved the trip, but not being able to camp (due to family visit) got me really frustrated and now I really want to get going!

Photos were taken with a Lumix DMC-FZ5
Feel free to ask me any questions
Hope you like...

Re: My first planned trip in my Van!

Great trip report. It looks like you had good weather for most of the trip. Did you get to Stonehenge while in Great Britain?

Re: My first planned trip in my Van!

Hi,
No we didn't pass Stonehenge. We drove down the A303 as far as point A (Andover) then onto the A342. Stonehenge, as you can see on the map (see link below) is further down the road 14 miles, that is point B.

Google Map Link

It is nice to look at but hordes of people just to look at some stones... I believe nowadays you even have to pay to get close...

Re: My first planned trip in my Van!

Great report, and thanks for posting it. I’ve never been out of the US and your pictures are very interesting. It’s cool to see a trip report from/about another continent, so keep them coming.
Dave.

Re: My first planned trip in my Van!

Cool. By the looks on the faces of those two smiling kids in the van... this was definitely a well received trip.

Re: My first planned trip in my Van!

Thank you for your encouragements...
I will do my best to get some EU trip reports coming through
Maybe one day I will be able to get a PH top fitted and then it would be more real!

Maybe on that day I'll be able to look at your table seats without wincing at the thought of you folded in there like a taco!

Are there old Westys or VW vans with PH tops you could salvage?
