A bit late in getting it done, but here is a link to our report of this years trip into the four corners area.

Enjoy

Nice report. And great little animated trip map. What did you build that report in?

The report was made on a Mac using iWeb
The animation was the toughest part. It took me a while to get it the way I wanted.
My Spot device created all of the waypoints on our trip.
http://www.findmespot.com/en/
The waypoints were uploaded into a program called Mytracks.
http://www.mytracks4mac.com/myTracks/Start.html
That is the program that generates the pin and draws the route.
Next I used a screen capture program to generate a movie. There are a number of them out there to make screen capture movies for Youtube. I experimented with a few trial versions until I found one that worked for me.

Re: Navajo Nation Trip Report

I can see the main pages, but I can't view the slide shows. Something about a missing plug-in that my computer can't identify. I'm using Firefox if that matters.

I'll see what I can do and let you know. The slide shows were made with a Mac so I assume Quicktime should be the plugin Firefox needs. FWIW I havn't seen any problems with Internet Explorer. Any webmasters out there?

Re: Navajo Nation Trip Report

Excellent trip report and pics; thanks for taking the time to put it all together.

I had a similar reaction to Zion vs. Bryce. If you only have time for one of the two, Zion for sure.

Re: Navajo Nation Trip Report

Charlie that is the most professionally made trip report I’ve ever seen. Good job. Looks like you had a great time. Hope you didn’t damage the van in your mud encounter.
