Wow, how in the world did you manage to get a picture of Dave with a beer in his hand? It's such a rare sight.

Re: NorCal Sierra 4x4 Meet (LEAVITT TRAIL WILL BE OPEN)
1der balancing on two wheels:
When we came in, I went to the left like you came out (the right side in this photo). However, on the way out, for some reason, I went over to the same side 1der went. I don't think I went up on only two wheels but I decided that my wife should check out my line and she was concerned that a rock would rip into a sidewall so she had me back up. But that put me really close to that tree in the photo. I finally got over to where she was satisfied that I'd miss the rock...but I missed hitting that tree with the penthouse by about a half inch!

He had to negotiate and back up a bit after this to not hit that rock with his sidewall.
I just drove straight over the rocks, they weren't that big!

Re: NorCal Sierra 4x4 Meet (LEAVITT TRAIL WILL BE OPEN)
Thanks Dave for putting together another great gathering. Great to see old friends and make new ones, The trail coming into camp had just enough difficulty to give Yon a thrill. So stoked to see the look on his face when he got to camp. Cindy was at the store today buying all kinds of new trinkets. I thought we had all we needed, but what do I know.
Craig and Cindy
PS We are trying to put something together for the fall. Cuyama Valley area?

I gotta say Yon's van is absolutely wicked looking! We met him and YVRR (Jack?) at the entrance to the trail on our way out and just had time for a quick introduction. I wish I coulda checked it out more. Fixed top EB, my dream van!

Re: NorCal Sierra 4x4 Meet (LEAVITT TRAIL WILL BE OPEN)
Made it home last night. Sure had a good time and I wish everybody including me could still be up there. I guess it's been dead calm since we left. Time to plan another trip.
Pictures are great and I'll post up soon as well...on a 36 hr shift right now and dead tired.
Thanks to all that showed up.
BTW, broke my sway bar again! Like the 12th time
I swear Don's wife has a white Lego van and is stickin long needles in it

Dave, your next upgrade should be a welding rig... maybe on a front hitch receiver
