October 2009 Texas/Central Texas Forum Meetup

The Forum is planning a decentralized meetup around the weekend of 24/25 October 2009. The idea would be to have multiple locations scattered about so that everyone hopefully can find a meetup that is somewhat close to home.

So who would be interested in a meetup in Texas or Central Texas?

Anyone have location ideas or suggestions?

I can probably make that. I'll give some thought as to where.

My choice would be Pedernales Falls SP, west of Austin. Lockhart SP and Bastrop SP might also be good choices. All are close to San Antonio and Austin, and not too far from Houston and Dallas.

Re: October 2009 Texas/Central Texas Forum Meetup

My wife and I are long-time class B'ers, currently with a Roadtrek. Since we are very interested in changing to an SMB, we would love to attend a forum to talk to owners and get more information to supplement what is available through the company.

We live in Helotes and have stayed at both Pedernales and Bastrop. Any park within a reasonable distance of San Antonio would work fine for us.

We will watch the forum for further information.

Thanks.

Sounds good. Anywhere within 2 hrs of Austin would be sweet!

Bastrop SP and Pedernales Falls SP are now fully booked for the Oct. 23 and 24.
