Overland Expo 2009

Who's going to the Overland Expo? I just got an email from Sportsmobile about it.

I'm giving it some thought, not sure yet if I will actually dive in.

Re: Overland Expo 2009

Its the wrong time to sign up for an event that runs $245. Just isn't in our budget right now.

If we can make it, we might do the day pass thing.. just to meet the folks out there and say hello to friends and fellow overlanders.

Re: Overland Expo 2009

I thought it was interesting, this email is the first contact I've ever had from SMB as a used owner. My understanding is that they normally only invite new purchasers to the rally.

I got the same email. It's a shame they didn't send a similar email when they determined the Amsoil issue since they obviously have an email list

Hey Dave, is it 245 per person even if my wife elects just to watch? She hates being left behind.

Re: Overland Expo 2009

We are planning on attending as it looks to be a great opportunity to meet others from the overland dependant travel community in a rally / camping type of environment. We are signed up for the “Overland Experience” package that apparently includes some courses that look to be pretty interesting.

The list of exhibitors is growing daily. It would be great to have a bunch of SMB4um folks there as it really makes a difference when we all get to meet face to face.

Hope to see you there...
