Overland Expo 2010

I'm day-passing at Overland Expo 2010 April16-18 for the specific purpose of seeing/talking to lots of proud parents of SMB's, particularly 2006 & newer. I'm planning on buying used next year and need help how to. I've got it for buying new; I know what I'd buy and how to equip it, thanks to years of reading this forum. The way, however, has become used only. That's a new deal for me; I haven't been studying that.

Is there anyone out there going to the Expo? If it's a non-thing for SMB folks, I still have time to cancel all my reservations. The Expo looks like fun itself, even on a day pass; but I don't want to go w/o SMB's, assuming the owners will let me talk to them.

If there's a better way to see LOTS of SMB's in one place than the Overland Expo, someone please cure my ignorance; and I'll go there instead.

JC

Re: Overland Expo 2010

There will be many SMB's there. SMB is a sponsor and I know of at least 5 SMB's that are attending. All 2008 and newer. This event is where I was able to see 10 or so SMB's and determined how I wanted to outfit my SMB. See you out in AZ.

We'll be there. Wouldn't miss it. Great folks and awesome rigs. The classes and exhibits are worth it.

Re: Overland Expo 2010

Would love to be there
Sounds like a killer deal
However we are having difficulty with our Thai SMB
we will be looking at installing Deavers and Jages Tail lights
when we are there during the Expo
Maybe we can bring Jumbo, Wilson's brother next year

Looks like you need to consider some air bags. You got some serious sag in the rear end there.

Re: Overland Expo 2010

Disabled Explorers will be there with the WAVE (Wheelchair Accessible Van for Expeditions).
And it was the Blackeye rig that inspired the WAVE so it will be great to see old friends and make new ones.

Yeah the Overland Experience is sold out, but the day passes are aval and worth every penny. Tons of stuff aval to do and see.

I agree, more Saggy Butt
There are already two bags in the rear, but they only inflate when an attractive model goes by....
