Normally true, but currently closed. Check makah.com for status updates on whether the Makah tribal lands have re-opened to visitors.

There was a recent thread for suggestions covering just the Olympic peninsula:

Off topic...where in Durango? I lived off 5th and Fifth. Planning a trip back this summer maybe look for a lot to build!

Be sure to drive out on the playa if it is dry - easy access from Frog Springs... and spend the night if at all possible. Have a great trip.

We live out CR125 north of Shendoah and south of Durango West. Built on a lot back in '12. It may be a Hesperus address but it's only 8.5 miles to Doubletree from our garage. Close enough.

Just noticed this on the map from Otter... Dickshooter OR. I just might have to go there to get a photo of that sign.

I registered just so I could reply to this. Are you biking? What are you thinking about. I’m from Seattle.

Good luck. I hope it won’t be too hot. I’m getting a 2021 AWD Transit for similar things. The bikes will get me where the van won’t.
