Perhaps I should back off my statement that getting up the hill will require high clearance 4wd. If your willing to apply maximum ammounts of throttle, coupled with a good running start, you should make it. It's the deeper sections of flat sand that I've had trouble with. At first I used low gear and lots of throttle, but ended up sinking. Later attempts in a higher gear along with a good measure of speed got me through no problem, so momentem will be your friend. No matter what though, should anyone fail, we will get them to the camp site.

Yes, and there's the rub.. the damned hard left turn at the bottom of the hill climb. Tough to carry any momentum.
