These pics from Phil's post brought back memories. Goler Wash is really a nice and beautiful spot. Ruth and I went through there year before last but didn't get all the way into DV. That waterfall in the pics looks bad but I crawled right up and over in low with no lockers in. Some jeeps coming out as we went in said they doubted I could make it up the falls. The hard part was trying to stay upright when you got out to check stuff. The wind coming down the canyon that day must have been hitting 30knots. We camped at the Barker ranch...creepy and then came out the way we came in. We were solo on that trip and when I got up to Mengele Pass I just didn't feel good about the next 200 yards or so.
I would LOVE to do this trip again with another van if anyone has any interest. I want to see the country beyond Mengele.
