Re: Death Valley Group Run Comments Section

Nice write up Dave. Thanks for leaving out the part about the hookers.

I drive real slow off-road. (the result of 40 years going off-road )

But on the hi-way, 80 , 85 is good!

But hard on the drive shaft. However, my van is higher than most!!!!

Had a great time We managed to talk politics and not kill each other.

Re: Death Valley Group Run Comments Section

Daveb:

Thanks so much for these very extensive and detailed reports. I read them with my Death Valley map spread open on my desk so I could mark all of the places I now want to go see. I'm hoping I will be healthy enough in 2012 to finally get out and do some more Sportsmobiling. It's been hard to be stuck at home dreaming instead of out exploring. I now have a list so long of places I want to visit I could be on the road for several months and still not get to them all. And those are just the places within a few hundred miles of my home.

Interestingly, it was almost exactly four years ago coming back from Death Valley that I was struck with severe vertigo. I've pretty much been down for the count ever since. However, two weeks ago I returned from the Mayo Clinic and finally have a diagnosis and treatment plan. So I'm hoping 2012 is the year I get back on my feet -- or, better yet, back on my wheels. I have places to go and people to see, so let's hope for the best!!!!!

Regards,

Mac
