Greetings,
Good to hear from all of you, and Blackeye and Jammyauto.
We will be there from 9am-12 noon.
People can stay longer if they like!
As Jim suggested, we can meet at the west end of Lead Better beach parking lot.
There are picnic tables and grass in that area.
Go to the far west of Shoreline restaraunt.
Just look for the vans!
See you then,
Zugg

How did the S B Meet and greet turn out ? I had planned to drop by after fishing the Rincon and lost track of time . I hope it was a success
and I have been looking forward to somebody's post and perhaps some photograph's of the meeting .

Please accept my sincerest apologies for not making it to the Santa Barbara Meet & Greet. We were on a road trip when I saw the post and replied that it looked good for us to make it.
Turns out, most of the time when I am on a road trip, I don’t pay much attention to clocks and calendars. I spaced on when we were due back in the SB area. Sorry.
How did it go? Any reports or pics?

Very nice time. I think 5 or 6 SMBers. I know Jeffrey took some pics, so hopefully he'll post. I got some great information that should save me some hassle and some money!
Thanks to everyone else who attended, and for your patience with the fact that our kids and dog were so, um, rambunctious.

Jim,
"Great white van"? The name has to be Moby.
Herb.

Well, we had a previous "Great White Truck". Dodge extra cab longbed: I'm pretty sure it was longer than our EB!
My first night sleeping in the SMB (on the way back from Montana), just over the border into Idaho, I woke in the morning and there was a moose hanging out next to me. My wife told our 2-year-old twins about it, so now every time they see the van, they say "Oh my! Moose!" and put their palms to their cheeks like the "Home Alone" kid.
So trying NOT to have it be named "Oh My Moose".

My F250 crew cab long bed is exactly the same size as the SMB tip to tip. The aluminess bumpers help with about 6", however the F250 is so much harder to maneuver and park, largely due to the truck having a longer wheelbase and the excellent steering on the SMB 4x4.
