I normally wouldn't hurt a tree, but our hosts insisted on this site, so I hat to take a foot off a limb that wasn't quite dead. I paid for it by having sawdust all over for the rest of the weekend.

Rain, rain, go away.
My makeshift awning partially down to prevent rainwater collection.
Having a "low" spot helped channel the rain over night.
We wound up with about a 5' x 2' patch of dry outside the van door. Our compadres, not so lucky. I've been there before.

A short drive from camp- straight up and muddy/rocky terrain.
Looks like great weather up there <snicker, snicker> . I took mine earlier this year up up Cherry Creek Rd till it hit the 260 (whatever the one that goes Globe to Young) and came back down that to Globe. Great scenic drive. Even stopped off at workman creek falls.
