Re: Sierra's 2012

The next day was a mix of mountain biking down Mammoth Mountain and a little sight seeing around the area. The ride from the top all the way into town was a blast. Have not done it in years.

We stayed at the Mammoth Mountain campground which worked out well in-between our off road ventures.

Re: Sierra's 2012

Second to last day we hit Bodie for a few hours. Cloudy, windy and surprisingly crowded. Need to get back up there as there are some great photo ops to be had but not on the day I was there. Only snapped a few pics.

On the way back we stopped briefly at Mono Lake and then headed up to the top of the Minarets Road for the evening. Caught a great sunset and sunrise up there and then headed to Whitney Portal. Images coming….

Can't wait to see your photos of the scenery around Whitney Portal. My iPhone camera is so lousy at outdoor shots that it almost cheapens the memory.
