So Cal Burro Schmidt Tunnel Meet April 5th, 6th & 7th?

Not the same canyon and its good I did turn around when I did. The other smb did a run at it after I bailed and had fun tell late into the morning with digging and pilling rocks to get out.

So you didn't get through? Any Pics?

The last time I went through there the trail had been washed out enough that an SMB would have had a rough time making it even if it could.

Was dark when I turned around and I believe they worked to much to get any photos. But we shall see if they post any.

We do have one of Ktmrider stuck and flashing some plumbers crack.

The little was crossing that stopped us.

it had just the right angle to hang up the EB butt

Just some picks of the group.

Eric I still have one of his maps in the van that needs to find its way home.

"We do have one of Ktmrider stuck and flashing some plumbers crack."

Mama always said if you got it flaunt it! It was too hot for boxers anway .....

I was under filling up my air bags trying to lift the rear of the van to just be able to drive out. They did help a bit but we decided it looked cooler to get out the gear.

Stuck.

I heard Don and Kelly talking in the background before I went first "If you aren't tryin you aren't livin". Sounded like good words of wisdom at the time . Then Don took a look closer and said "I don't think I will have a problem with that.." and he didn't either since we turned around.

At least my limited slip in the front seemed to be doing the job.

While I stepped back to pull up my shorts Kelly and Don jumped in and started the extraction process.

The large Hi-Lift base plate and the tire attachment worked great, thank you Don! I need to immediately invest in these two accessories...

Kelly didn't think we even needed the MaxTrax but Don and I both agreed since they were available we should just do it right the first time. Plus they were KTM Orange so for me I wanted them just for the Photo Op. They worked perfect and with the exception of a small battle scar in my Aluminess rear bumper no other drama.

I have a bunch more photos to look through will post some good ones. It was really a fantastic trip. Great meeting Don and his son Brian. My nephew had a FANTASTIC time on his first desert trip!!!! Watching the Red Bull Mountain Bike movie on the big screen HD while sitting outside was epic, that video is amazing!

Fire, what fire?

Love the shots. Need to change the name of Last Chance Canyon to Hi-Lift Canyon. The only pictures of that Canyon on this site show Hi-Lifts in action There is a section like that on Mesquite Canyon Trail (EP15?) that looks similar.
Looks like you had a great time though.
