So Cal Burro Schmidt Tunnel Meet April 5th, 6th & 7th?
Going to try and get my nephew out camping in the desert for a few nights. Thinking of the Burro Schmidt Tunnel/El Paso area near Last Chance Canyon. Will probably head out Friday late afternoon and stay out in the area through Sunday morning. Would also like to make a trip into Randsburg for lunch on Saturday if it works out.
Anyone interested in a meetup and light wheeling?

The Pinnacles are not to far away either. Death Valley is probably pushing it for the limited time but....

My van and I had some fun exploring those areas in 2006. Lots to see & do! Too bad I live so far away.

Gooseberry hope you cqn make it. Geoffff thanks for the photos looks like Bickel Camp.
For anyone interested you can look up the Bonanza Trail for info on the area. There are a few Expo folks with pop top campers on trucks going to Death Valley as well. Not sure I would have enough time in Death Valley since this is a weekend run but it sounds enticing.
I really enjoy the Last Chance Canyon/El Paso area. Would also make a run into Randsburg if we want to the Saloon to eat.

Now we match! Was it in the same tight canyon? I was so impressed when you led the charge that time and came through without a scratch. Well, you're still impressive.
