Hi everyone.

I've been a long time lurker here as well as on Ex Portal. I presently have an F350 4x4 with an ATC camper on it but have been giving considerable thought to switching to a Sportsmobile 4x4 van. Would you mind a non-owner showing up so I could get a better look ??

marc

Im not making reservations to camp, we aren't that far from Bolsa Chica so our plans were just to be there for the day. Not to mention the camping area is probably already booked.

Marc, of course you can come by. That's what it's all about. Checking out the rides and talking to people with true life experience.

Cool. Count me in unless work changes things. Also, I only live about 30 minutes away so I can show up early.

What time will we all be showing up?

I'm in Thousand Oaks and planning on attending mid morning to early afternoon.

Looking forward to this Meet and Greet!

Surfing Bolsa at least once a week, I have noticed that the parking lot next to the RV camping gets really crowded on the weekend (specially when the surf is good). I am suggesting to meet on the far north end parking of Bolsa Chica State beach. Every time I drive by the north parking lot, it seem to be the one with the least crowd.

PS. If the group decides to meet at the North end of Bolsa, just make a right from the entrance until you reach the last parking lot.

We will be there in the AM as well. We will try to stay as long as we can depending how more we need to do to prepare for our 2 week voyage.

See you guys there!

Ray

We can do the north end, that's no problem whatsoever.

North end it is. Just make a right as above post says and look for SMB's.

Going to try and get there like 7-8am.

I'm probably not going to be able to make it now, sorry. I was planning on combining the trip up from San Diego with visiting my sister and new niece in Long Beach. However, they are now going to be out of town that day so it would be a really long drive (and early morning) for me just to get up to Bolsa Chica. Sorry and if anything changes I'll be sure to let you know.
