Re: Swiss touring The west...

Fabulous trip report, Andrew! Glad you found the Burr Trail road. What a descent into Capitol reef, eh? Plenty of great places you covered, plenty more coming up for you.

Now I know I wish I'd followed you Andrew! Man, I'll have retire before doing that. I'm sitting up on Sonora Pass right now, but that took the wind out of my sails. Keep the pics coming.

Yes it was a ground cable that was not connected.
By safety so that the first users would not damage something by playing around...

Capitol Reef NP
End of Burr Trail:

Drive down into strike valley

Over view of strike valley

In strike valley

A power horse and accessory

Natural bridge

Crossing the river to access Cathedral area

In the back is the entry point
On the way a forgotten drill and truck

Then reaching an other planet...

and some of the Cathedrals

Re: Swiss touring The west...

Andrew, your trip through Capita Reef looks fabulous! I've been down the Bur Trail into Strike Valley. As you show there's so much cool stuff there. I hope you're enjoying the Rt 395 area. Take care!
