Love your picture of Boundary Waters, I love it there. I think the call of the Loon is my favorite sound in nature. Common Loon that is, the Pacific Loon sounds awful. I was awakened by one in Wrangle-St. Elias NP and thought it was a sick moose or something. It might sound good to another Pacific Loon but it is loud and not a pleasant start of the day.

The Loon is awesome! My wife was lucky enough to hear one call and another call back when she was recording a little lakeside video on her phone...she has great sound/videos of streams, ocean waves, meadow sounds etc...

Three great wilderness sounds: loon call, elk bugling, wolves howling. [emoji106]

Where do you live in Nevada?

Let's just keep it on topic. No need to involve current politics or put down places people live.
