Re: Thanksgiving week

If I get my steps fixed I want to get out somewhere...as dry as it is I might shoot for Leavitt Lake one last time if it's still open. Love to catch a light dusting of snow somewhere. What are your plans?

Re: Thanksgiving week

We will be kayaking and camping from Moss Landing to Bodega Head (11/23 - 11/30). Looking forward to it.

Re: Thanksgiving week

Me and the girl probably camping somewhere Fri-Sun in NorCal. That's about as far as I've got in the planning.

Re: Thanksgiving week

We're head out to Southwest Utah, Zion and Gooseberry Mesa. We plan on stopping at Red Rocks Canyon in Nevada for a few days on our way out. We had planned on leaving this Saturday but the rain forecast for the next few days would make climbing on the sandstone uncool for at least 2 to 3 days after the rain passes.
But we still plan on being out for 10 or 11 days. I'm really looking forward to this and can't wait to backing out of my driveway

Re: Thanksgiving week

Well Leavitt's out. There's snow in the hills. My bet is the roads are closed at least for now. Guess I'll just have to go to the secret spot. Hopefully the others who know about the spot won't be there

Dang Ron, I like your plan. Let's just say I'll be someplace much less cooler than that, with people whom I sort of want and sort of don't want to see. I think they call that family.
