Looks a lot warmer and more inviting than Tennessee @Dhally!

Nice!…..and where’s all those spare parts for the bike gonna fit?!?
I’ve got to modify my trailer to fit my 2012 KTM 350 and to carry the 12ft aluminum boat and small motor…..one project at a time, or at least until warmer weather!
Safe travels!

Looked at old texts, confirmed its 2002 400 EXC, btw. Jeff is on the road south now, evidently with poor reception or he could have answered!

Sorry for the slow reply, I’ve been on the road with crappy service but Robb is correct, it’s a 2002 400exc. Probably the most bad ass dirt bike I’ve ever owned but it’s so damn tall. I know I can lower it but I’m trying to get use to it. So far though, it’s winning and has put me flat on my face or back several times, mostly at a dead stop. Oh, I did find slightly warmer weather in the Ca desert at the King of the hammers races, but early mornings are right around freezing and there is zero cell service at the race. No complaints though, I’m having a blast.

Time to go

It is true, these things are tractors and need little but fuel to keep them going.
I will say a spare set of brake levers and maybe a throttle housing would be good to have along. It’s always good to be prepared, especially if you squirt your bike out from under you and launch it 20ft in the air when trying to go up a rock face. Just sayin’
And yes, they are tall, but there’s adjustments that can be made, this can be done by loosening and turning the lock ring on the rear spring in the direction needed to lower the bike.
