Great photos you guys! Now I can see what I missed. And what a difference a few hours can make.
I had some work I had to do on Saturday morning so I did leave LA until 12pm. But it sounds like that worked out well for me. I checked-out the traffic report before I left and ignored the closure reports. By the time I got to the closure, they had just started to reopen the road. Once I passed the truck picking up the cones the road was wide open.
Unfortunately by the time I pulled into camp most people had enough of the cold and wind and had packed up and gone. But it was great to hangout with those that stock around and it was great to see all those cool rigs.
Every hour that past, the weather got a bit better and by Sunday morning it was clear and no wind at all. Although it was 24 degrees.
Always a good time and I'm looking foreword to next year.
