Re: Trip Report: Bodie Ghost Town

Great trip report adventureduo. (As usual) We love the place too. Been going there since the late 50's. Even better for us as we have a good friend that works there so we get the keys to all the buildings. The stuff that's hidden in the back rooms makes the thru the window stuff look pretty mild. Amazing place....

Anyone going, save some time for the tours as you learn a lot more and get to see stuff other's don't. A great place and part of our settleing of the west history.

Re: Trip Report: Bodie Ghost Town

Last time we were there we got a private tour of the mill. Private since we were the only ones that wanted to go inside it. But, he let us go everywhere unlike the regular tour.

Fascinating place.

Thanks for the reminders of how great it is.

Mike

Good for you, Dave and Yoshi . That's a fabulous place. I was involved in a photographic workshop that provided access into most buildings for three days. It was a dream shoot. See my images in the Bodie Gallery on my site.
