Truckee Area this Week

Heading up tonight for skiing a few hours at Squaw Valley tomorrow (Monday).
Then at nearby Goose Meadows CG through Thurs night. From day a couple of hours skiing again before heading home.

Bringing skis, bikes and planning on some hiking. Stop by if you are in the 'hood!

Ray and Jennifer.

Skied Squaw for bit yesterday until they closed the mountain for lightning risk.

Today, did 23 mi on the bikes. Great weather, great friends, great food - always works!

Skiing in CA on July 4th. Who woulda thunk it?!

Keep the Skis Out Until Summer as California/Nevada Resorts Stay Open Longer

Where's all that snow going to go when it melts? We're FULL!

I was awakened today by a thunder storm DIRECTLY over the boat, and it was probably the loudest noise I have ever heard. It went on for about five minutes and was completely awesome but you can bet I stayed far away from anything metal. Glad I wasn't skiing down a mountain at the time.
