- Bryce Canyon National Park[/*:m:xce522ad]
On paper, I think that I have provided for an acceptable mix of boondocking, camping in campgrounds, and staying in hotels for this trip. My wife will undoubtedly let me know own way or another once she learns that she is still two days away from a hot shower... :-) Weather seems to be one of the biggest factors and could block access or cancel any number of places we intend to visit. We should be flexible enough to roll with whatever mother nature does (as nothing on our list is really mandatory). I am also learning the areas near where we are traveling just in case we need a plan-b.
I have also decided to leave the motorcycle at home in favor of bringing a second spare tire (similar to the setup we utilized in Alaska). Seems like I kept running into stories about people getting multiple flats while traveling along the NRGC and the frequency of these type of incidents has now altered our configuration.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. The information provided here and in this forum has really been a huge help in focusing what it is that we want to go out and see. Hopefully we can return to this community a trip report that describes our experience and also provides enough detail to by referenced by others.
Cheers,
TWOLOST +1
