Yeah I really like that one, but at the same time with the lighting, it reminds me a little of the end of the movie "The Shining".

[edit: Hopefully you and everyone else in the NW is safe and sound. My in-laws in Chehalis have sent some pics of the serious flooding in the area. Luckily, they're up on the hill so they're safe and dry].

Thanks for all of the kind comments...

Weather Update:
Well, things really warmed up around here in a hurry and all foot (plus) of the snow that was in our driveway is history. Add to that four inches of rain in the past 24 hours (and still raining hard)... and there is water in abundance around here now. We were fortunate not to get the high winds originally forecast for our neck of the woods - thankfully. Based on some of the regional reports we have seen, many others have not been so lucky.

Safe returns everyone,

Great pics Twolost!

Yeah its getting to be that time of yr. Here in the Wasatch we finally got hit hard w/ the white stuff and more is on the way this week. Hopefully will get a chance to get out and play in the snow w/ the SMB here in the next few days. If I can just remember to bring the darn camera and take the time to take some pics instead of goofing off I'll try to get some pics from 'the greatest snow on earth' posted

cheers,

-d

Those shots definitely make me glad I have decided to go for the 4x4. (Just placed order for my FORD EB 350 yesterday.) We get the big snows here too in NY. (and maybe if I squint and turn sideways I the Catskills will look more like the Rockies?)
