Utah flash flood claims two children.

I think about it all the time when camping in the desert, but don't always listen to that little voice in my head that says, "this would be a bad place to be in a rain storm" In the future, I think that voice will be a bit louder. Be careful out there folks, this is very sad.

Aw, gee. That’s a terrible shame. I traveled in New Mexico some years ago and marveled at all of the dry creek beds - my term. Being a rainforest northerner, I had no concept of how fast these things happen but saw it once with my own eyes. Scared the heck out of me.
